Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Overview

Wheel of Blame ("we", "the app") is a client-side web application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is and is not collected when you use wheelofblame.app.

Data We Do NOT Collect

How Your Data Is Stored

All wheel state — including names and blame scores — is stored exclusively in the URL hash of your browser. It never leaves your device unless you choose to share the URL with others. Shared URLs contain only the names and numbers you entered; no device identifiers, location data, or metadata are included.

Analytics

We may use privacy-first analytics (such as Plausible Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, how many people visit the site and which pages are most popular. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant. No individual user is tracked or identified.

Advertising

We may display third-party advertisements. If we do, those ad networks (such as Google AdSense or Carbon Ads) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. Please refer to each network's own privacy policy for details. You can opt out of personalised advertising via the NAI opt-out tool.

Third-Party Services

Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to render the app's typography. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Wheel of Blame is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
